A location-based web app that helps users discover nearby bar deals using real-time mapping and search features.
Built as a Progressive Web App (PWA) with responsive design, Deal Buddy integrates Leaflet maps and multiple APIs to pinpoint local bars and their deals. Features include dynamic search with live suggestions, geolocation-based recommendations, and persistent data storage for user-added deals. The app also supports profile customization with camera integration and works seamlessly across devices.
Designed and deployed powerful AI automations, including an image generation tool with a user-friendly interface, showcasing expertise in building and integrating advanced AI systems.
This project focused on making generative AI accessible through a streamlined web interface. Built using Streamlit, the tool allows users to input text prompts, apply style presets, and generate multiple high-quality images via OpenAI’s image API. It incorporates prompt engineering, error handling, and instant download functionality for user convenience. The workflow automates prompt processing, API calls, and rendering, while implementing ethical safeguards to prevent harmful content and protect sensitive keys. This project reflects hands-on experience with AI automation, integration, and UI design.
Developed a full-stack application for art curators, integrating API-driven content and collaborative planning tools to streamline exhibit creation.
MUSEum is a downloadable workspace designed for curators at the Art Institute of Chicago. The app enables users to plan and organize exhibitions by pulling artwork data from the Art Institute’s API and storing selections in a centralized interface. Key features include a homepage with navigation, an exhibit planning page, and a deadline tracker. The project involved full-stack development with robust error handling and styling enhancements. Future plans include adding collaborative features, advanced search functionality, and export tools to support multi-user workflows.
Designed and prototyped a platform to help Penn State students discover and support student-run businesses, focusing on usability and community engagement.
This project addressed the challenge of connecting students with campus-based businesses by creating an application where student entrepreneurs can showcase their services and consumers can browse, review, and save businesses. The design process included user interviews, brainstorming sessions, and iterative testing to ensure accessibility and ease of navigation. Key features include business listings, review submission, and saved favorites. A high-fidelity Figma prototype was developed and tested through moderated and unmoderated usability studies, revealing insights for future improvements such as clearer navigation, map-based search, and enhanced review functionality.
Built a Java-based chatbot that answers questions across books, TV, and film by using intent detection and slot‑filling to manage multi‑turn conversations.
Implemented a dialogue manager that tracks conversation state and uses rule-based logic to handle diverse queries, from weather and food recommendations to media lookups. The system ensures smooth multi-turn interactions by asking for missing details and providing accurate responses once all required information is collected.
